Expressions of Gratitude

• Today I am grateful for being done with political bullshit at least for the moment. I stopped listening years ago now, finally, my partner has also stopped tuning into the chaos, fear, twisted and manufactured crap that masquerades as objective journalism. The resentment is not gone, obviously, just writing this gets me fired up and angry. I have, however, decided to shelve it for now. I'll stash it away down the hall in an obscure little room of my vast beautiful life and let it go.
• Today I am grateful to have writing as my outlet and constant companion on this journey. Expressing it here in a more public format has it's own blessings so I'll ponder continuing this practice for the days, months and years to come.
• Today I am grateful for the love of my life and all the present and future joy and adventure that is held in that space.
• Today I am grateful for my home and the wildness surrounding it that beckons and seduces and delivers magical bountiful nature.
• Today I am grateful for food and friends, humor and laughter. I am grateful for the gifts of forgiveness and freedom and rain and chickadees and stone and warm light.

I will continue this again. The calling has returned. Perhaps someone is listening who will be inspired to their own gratitudes!
