May you be free from fear... May you be free from desire...
May you be blessed with acceptance... May you be blessed with joy...

![]() After listening to David Isay, the creator of Story Corps, discuss the top questions people ask of each other... what a great list of questions for those of us who are socially conversationally challenged! It's almost that small talk time of year again. Ugh! It's also, oftentimes, the only time we hang out with certain relatives, why not get the low down on their lives and make good use of the time... just sayin' if my Grandparents were alive that's what I would do. Hindsight 20/20 and all that. Grandparents
The last one really gets to me. Before I do another session with a psychic I'll look up better questions. I can also use the questions on the StoryCorps website for upcoming uncomfortable moments with basic strangers at Holiday gatherings. There are lots of lists of questions for all different people and situations. Yeah! Cool! Here's the link again http://diy.storycorps.org/great-questions-list/ Comments are closed.

Laurie Anne McCauleyDid that make you feel better? Intro
I decided back in November 2015 to make my poetry available and journal online. I'm not exactly sure what "blogging" means but I am quite sure this is an online journal. Feel free to read on with an aire of open minded curiosity. At no time do I intend to offend, judge or pretend to know anything really, I'm just an observer and explorer, as we all are. Feel free to "boldly go" through my observations and perhaps it will spark or inspire. Comments are off because I don't want to be worried about political correctness when I'm writing. I'm not thinking about "you." I'm just writing because it feels "right". Feel free to enjoy or surf on. LA McCauley Archives
